There has been a huge increase this year in families with children moving from homelessness into a tenancy last year we helped 73 families and 123 children this year 135 and 230 children.

Number of Starter Packs sent out in the month of July

28 Homes received a Starter Pack, 13 individuals, 15 families including 28 children.

Figures for the year so far

128 Homes, 75 individuals, 85 families including 153 children

June Glancy Outreach Worker gave a presentation about the work Starter Packs to the Rotary Club of Greenock and was presented with a cheque for £800.00 towards the work of the Project.  Thanks to the Rotary Club Greenock this money will be used to purchase items needed to go into a Starter Pack.

River Clyde Homes 'Up Close' campaign  presented Mari Wright with a cheque for £500 for being a 'Real Community Hero' and Mari selected ourselves to receive the money.  Mari had been given a Starter Pack a couple of years ago and felt this was a great help to people moving out of homelessness. Thanks to Mari for this money which will be of great help to our Project
