Starter Packs Mission Statement

To help eliminate some of the problems people can face in the initial stages of setting up home after a period of homelessness by providing a Starter Pack of essential household items.

  • MONTHLY FOCUS MARCH Hi folks,The monthly focus for March is Men's Shampoo, Shower Gel, Shaving Foam, Razors and Deodorant.The number of Starter Packs given out in February was 33 homes, 24 single people, 9 families including 19 children.As always you help is very much appreciated.

  • Co-op Community Fund Just wee  reminder, we have been chosen by the Co-op Community Fund to receive some funding and we need your help. The fund is running until 26th October, 2019,If you  have not already done so, you can go online and choose our charity.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  We will use the money to purchase nice new bedding for children moving from homelessness in a new tenancy.

  • MONTHLY FOCUS 2019     Monthly focus for January is Washing Up Liquid, bathroom/kitchen cleaner, tea towels.        February, Ladies shampoo, hand wash, deodorant, toothpaste and face cloths.    Items in short supply, double duvet covers, sheets, shaving foam and kitchen towels.    A huge thanks to you all for your continued support, your help Is greatly appreciated.

  • Donations We are most grateful to all who have supported us in the run up to the Christmas Season including Texas Instruments for £500, River Clyde Homes staff for £385 and also to Tesco Port Glasgow for donationsof toiletries etc.

  • Annual Statistics for 2018 During 2018, 464 homes were supplied by us with packs. The packs went to 327 single people, and  137 families with 226 children.  This is 64 more homes than 2017.
