Starter Packs Mission Statement

To help eliminate some of the problems people can face in the initial stages of setting up home after a period of homelessness by providing a Starter Pack of essential household items.

  • Donation from Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church   We would like to say a huge thanks to Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church for their kind donation of goods that will go into our packs together with £110.00.  We really appreciate the ongoing support from local churches, this is very much appreciate and is of great help in allowing us to help those in need.

  • Donation - from River Clyde Homes Staff   We would like to say a huge thank to the Staff at River Clyde Homes for their kind donation of £200.00 towards the work of Starter Packs Inverclyde. We will use this  money to purchase items that are in short supply.

  • MONTHLY FOCUS OCTOBER  Hi Folks,The Monthly Focus for October is Toilet Roll, Kitchen Roll, Cleaning Cloths and Washing up Liquid.Items in short supply ladies and gents deodorant, kitchen/bathroom cleaner, double duvet cover and sheets.

  • Packs out September The number of Starter Packs given out in September was 32 homes, 21 single people, 11 families including 16 children.

  • Packs out in August We gave out Starter Packs 40 homes within these home were 30 single people, 10 families including 14 children.Our monthly focus for September is Adult toothbrushes, hand wash and facecloths.  Items in short supply male/female deodorant, kitchen towels and double bedding.As always thanks to you all for your continued support.
