Starter Packs Mission Statement

To help eliminate some of the problems people can face in the initial stages of setting up home after a period of homelessness by providing a Starter Pack of essential household items.

  • Annual General Meeting Notice is hereby given that our annual general meeting will take place on Monday 19th June at 10am at the depot, Unit 2 Empress Court, Greenock. PA15 4RWThis meeting will receive a financial report and a report on the activities of the Management Committee following by tea and coffee.

  • DATE FOR YOUR DIARY We are holding a fund raising Coffee Morning in  the hall of St Mary's Church, Houston Street, Greenock on Tuesday 13th June from 10am to 12 noon. Ticket costs £2.00 and can be purchased at the door.

  • Packs distributed During the first three months of 2017 we supplied 98 homes with Starter Packs this included 73 single people, 25 families including 39 children. The monthly focus for next three months is:-April: ladies' shampoo, shower gel, handwash and deodorantMay: toilet roll, kitchen roll, cleaning cloths and washing up liquidJune: childrens' shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushesYour support of the project is greatly appreciated.

  • Statitistics for 2016 Total number of homes receiving a Starter Pack was 372, this included 408 adults and 201 children.  Thanks to all who have and continue to support us.
