Starter Packs Mission Statement

To help eliminate some of the problems people can face in the initial stages of setting up home after a period of homelessness by providing a Starter Pack of essential household items.

  • Coffee Morning reminder Hi folks,We are holding a fundraising Coffee Morning and Bric a Brac sale at St. Mary's Church Hall, Houston Street, Greenock on Tuesday 26th November from10am to 12 noon.  Tickets cost £2.00 and can be purchased at the door.  Any donations of home-baking and raffle prizes would be greatly appreciated.

  • Appeal - Christmas is coming Hi Folks,In the run up to Christmas we are looking for gifts of selection boxes, chocolates and biscuits as wall as hats, scarves and gloves to add to the packs going out in December.

  • October Statistics The number of Starter Packs given out in October was 41 homes, 26 single people, 15 families including 22 children.

  • Monthly Focus November Hi Folks,The monthly focus for November is Washing up Liquid, Bathroom/Kitchen Cleaner and Tea Towels. Items in short supply double duvet covers, double sheets.

  • Donation from Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church   We would like to say a huge thanks to Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church for their kind donation of goods that will go into our packs together with £110.00.  We really appreciate the ongoing support from local churches, this is very much appreciate and is of great help in allowing us to help those in need.
